Prospects for moving the antimonopoly process online
The Federal Anti-Monopoly Service has been developing online processes for many years, and the Coronavirus Pandemic has once again confirmed their convenience. However, the procedure still needs to be improved, as there are technical failures and disconnections, difficulties with the identification of representatives, as well as confidentiality issues.
Elena Kuznetsova, Head of the Antimonopoly Law Practice at Infralex, in her comment for Pravo.ru, positively assessed the work of the antimonopoly authorities in ensuring the remote processing of cases both from the point of view of reduction of procedural time limits and from the point of view of the search for alternative forms of representatives' participation. "Remote review allows reducing time and financial costs of participation in cases of violation of antimonopoly legislation", - Elena believes.
