The arrest of assets in criminal law. The head of the Infralex criminal practice discussed the current issues

During the evening seminar of the Civilists Club of the Russian Private Law School Alumni Association, Artem Karakasiyan, head of criminal law and procedure practice at Infralex, took part in the discussion of current issues related to the seizure of property in criminal law.

During the discussion, Artem discussed the complex nature of confiscation of property in criminal proceedings, noting that the seizure of property is only one way of confiscating property in a criminal case. Also, Artem focused the attention of his colleagues on the problematic issues of challenging the seizure of property in criminal cases.
